Meals on Wheels serves anyone living in southern Larimer County with limited ability to shop for food and prepare their own meals due to a physical or mental handicap, age or illness. Meals may also be delivered to anyone recovering from hospitalization.
Our program is available to all people regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or income.
To be eligible for Meals on Wheels meal delivery, you must:
Be homebound and unable to shop or cook for yourself due to a physical or mental handicap, or recent hospitalization
Live in Loveland, Berthoud, Masonville, Carter Lake or southern Larimer County
Be 60 years of age and over, or under 60 with a disability
Clients Age 60 and Over
Due to special funding through the Older Americans Act meals are available to clients age 60 and older on a voluntary contribution basis. Suggested contributions are individually determined and based on the number of meals received.
No homebound individual is ever denied service based on an inability to pay.
Clients Age 60 and Under
Clients under age 60 are charged per meal with a sliding scale starting at $2.25 per meal. Clients are charged on the basis of the number of meals they receive each month.
