Loveland High School Students Award Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud a $2,000 Give Next Grant

We are honored and excited to share that Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud has been awarded a $2,000 grant through the Give Next program at Loveland High School!

The Give Next program empowers local students to thoughtfully review grant applications, consider community needs, and invest real funds into nonprofit organizations that make a difference. This year, the LHS Give Next Club demonstrated incredible thoughtfulness and generosity by selecting Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud as one of their grant recipients.

LHS student Alex Emanouilov presented the award check at their recent celebration event (pictured above, along with our Executive Director, Jeffrey Pomranka). We are also grateful to recognize the hard work and leadership of the full LHS Give Next committee, including Alex, Max Emanouilov, and senior Peyton Rickert with their great sponsor, Mr. Coley.

Choosing to support Meals on Wheels shows these students' commitment to thinking beyond themselves—investing in the health, dignity, and independence of older adults in our community who rely on home-delivered meals.

In addition to Meals on Wheels, the LHS Give Next Club awarded $2,000 grants to two other outstanding organizations: Loveland Youth Gardeners and UpRoot Colorado.

We are deeply honored to be trusted with their investment into our community’s future and we applaud their hard work, heart, and dedication to making Northern Colorado a stronger, more caring place for all generations.

Thank you, Loveland High School Give Next students — you inspire us!
