What is CO Gives?
On Tuesday, December 9th, life at Meals on Wheels will look similar to most weekdays. Our dedicated cooks will gather in the kitchen to prepare a BBQ treat and our friendly crew of volunteers will load up their cars, delivering each homemade meal by hand to smiling recipients. All the while, support for Colorado Gives Day and the thoughtful contributions of the community make our mission possible, filling hearts and bellies with holiday cheer.
What Is Colorado Gives Day?
Colorado Gives Day is a Colorado-based fundraiser that aims to support nonprofits like ours. It was started in 2010 by the Colorado Gives Foundation and has raised over $469 billion dollars in charitable donations.
The good news? Your giving window is open right now!
Every year, the opportunity to support nonprofits through Colorado Gives opens on November 1st. All donations made between November 1st and the second Tuesday in December earn MOWLB additional funding through the Colorado Gives Foundation's M1 + Incentive fund. You don't have to wait to make a difference! Your early donation today helps us meet our goal of raising $30K to bring nourishment to those in the Loveland and Berthoud area.
This year giving gives all the way through Tuesday December 9th, which marks the main donation day.
