Because of you, Colorado Gives was a meaningful season of care and connection for older adults in our community.

216 supporters chose to show up for older adults through Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud. From November 1 through December 9, you gave $43,145. With matching gifts, that generosity will have a total impact of $86,290. This funding will cover nearly a full month of meal delivery for the older adults in our community relying on nutritious meals, friendly visits, and the reassurance that someone is checking in on them day after day

That support quickly turns into real, everyday moments of care.

Because of you, a grandmother who lives alone will hear a familiar knock at the door and know someone is checking in. A volunteer will notice when something feels off and follow up. A meal will arrive not just as nutrition, but as reassurance that someone cares.

As one of our team members often reminds clients, “If you don’t answer the door, we’re going to call to make sure you’re okay.” Moments like these happen every single delivery day because supporters like you make them possible.

Colorado Gives is a reminder that when people come together with generosity and purpose, lives are improved in simple but powerful ways. Older adults in Loveland and Berthoud are better nourished, more connected, and safer in their homes because of you.
