Welcome Jennifer!

Jennifer Waaler joined the team in March after previously serving as the development director 10 years ago. She’s not surprised so many volunteers and staff members are still here, dedicatedly serving the Meals on Wheels mission. It’s one of the reasons Jennifer returned: the sense of belonging and community is unlike anywhere she’s worked before. 

As a life-long volunteer, Jennifer has also supported two local Meals on Wheels as a member of their board of directors and as a delivery driver. Additional volunteer roles include mentoring adolescents, caring for hospice patients, advocating for mental health initiatives, participating in restorative justice circles, and promoting women’s philanthropy through collective giving.

Jennifer brings 30 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership, including over 5 years in senior fundraising roles. Jennifer has a Master of Nonprofit Management degree and a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree.
