Volunteer Spotlight: Dolly Halverson

For 18 incredible years, Dolly has dedicated her Wednesdays to delivering smiles and nutritious meals to our clients on Route 15. She’s more than a volunteer, she’s part of the family! Her commitment to helping our homebound and aging adults maintain their independence is nothing short of inspiring.

At 75, Dolly is living proof that it’s never too late to chase your dreams. She recently enrolled in a 2-year, fine art school program, fulfilling a lifelong dream!

When not on her route, Dolly immerses herself in the world of watercolor painting and captivating books.

Thank you, Dolly, for your unwavering service and for bringing joy to our extended family every week!

As we celebrate the extraordinary contributions of Dolly Halverson, we’re reminded of the incredible impact each volunteer has within our community. Dolly’s story is a testament to the difference one person can make, not only in delivering meals but in enriching the lives of those she serves.

It’s so gratifying to meet Seniors in their homes who are so determined to be independent, taking care of themselves, and asking for help if needed.
