Meals on Wheels is taking over Downtown Loveland!

On June 22, 2022, we will once again host our extremely successful and popular Meals on 4th dining experience and fundraising event. For this one special night, tables will run the length of 4th Street in Downtown Loveland, creating a magical dining experience for supporters and guests alike!

Today marks the official 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act (OAA) Nutrition Program - the federal legislation that provides funding for nutrition services for seniors and helps support programs like Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud.

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud is joining in a special month-long “March for Meals” celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program.

We all know that the main focus of Meals on Wheels is to support our older neighbors to live independent and healthy lives as they age. Our organization does this by providing daily delicious and nutritious meals.

Our volunteers and staff also provide important in-home safety checks, social interactions, and connections to other community-based service providers and resources.

All of these moving parts work together to help improve our clients’ quality of life.

As we enter the last few days of 2021, we would like to remind everyone that there is still time to “Share the Love” with your neighbor!

Giving back to the community is a big part of Meals on Wheels’ mission and values, and during this season of giving, we encourage you to consider how you can have an impact on those around you!
